You will be a part of a high visibility team with a unique opportunity to build and evolve Vichara next genFixed Income data and analytics platform.Responsibilities for this role include: Design & build databases and data ingestion pipelines with an emphasis on scale, performance andreliability using SQL Server, Redshift and Snowflake along with AWS/Azure technologies. Migrate existing ETLs to Cloud infrastructure. Ensure data governance principles are adopted, data quality checks and data lineage implemented. Develop stable, standardized and repeatable architectural standards for cloud using Lambda, Glue, APIGateways, Step Functions, IAM etc. Set standards and measurement for data quality, compliance, data policy, data security, and data retention. Leads data modeling and quantitative analysis efforts. Architecture and Code ReviewQualificationsQualifications Minimum 10 years of database design and dev experience on SQL Server, Snowflake, preferably withinvestment datasets like Markit, Factset, Bloomberg, Index Data Strong architecture experience in large-scale, high-performance enterprise systems Hands on experience with SQL, Python, Spark. Hands-on experience on AWS environment including EMR, Glue, EC2, S3, CloudWatch, CloudFormation,CloudTrail, Airflow or equivalent Azure technologies Demonstrated data migration experience leveraging AWS or Azure. Strong understanding of MPP and NoSQL databases Hands on experience with Data governance implementation Experience with Data Science and AI is a plusAdditional InformationCompensation - 200K-300KBenefits:Extended health careDental careLife insurance
